She has experience working in various mental health settings and specializes in working with adults who are wanting to use an integrative mind, body and spirit approach in their therapy sessions. Many of her clients have experienced difficulties related to trauma, depression, life transitions, addictive processes or a sense of disconnect from themselves and others. She is a neurodiversity affirming therapist and has completed ongoing specialized training in trauma-informed modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic IFS and Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy. These modalities emphasize exploring your experiences not just through talking but understanding your nervous system and what's being held in your body. In her sessions, you’ll work collaboratively, exploring your inner world, the many “parts” of you from a place of compassion, curiosity, and presence. She works from a relational and strength-based approach, believing in every individual's ability to heal, grow and connect more deeply to themselves. Sarah offers in person and virtual appointments.
