Founder & Clinician
Tara Clark, LCSW
Tara graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with her Masters of Social Work Degree. Since then she has worked with a variety of populations, including children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mood disorders, and trauma. She is trained in the EMDR and focuses the majority of her work on helping individuals resolve past trauma with a combination of EMDR therapy and somatic techniques. She is also skilled in providing talk therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. With children she enjoys using interventions that involve play therapy techniques and art therapy techniques, as well as sand tray therapy techniques. She enjoys working with all age ranges. Tara offers in person and virtual appointments at this time in the Athens and Mansfield locations.

Stacy Cannavino, LCSW, C-DBT, C-PD
Stacy graduated with a Masters Degree in Social Work from Edinboro University in 2016. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is also a Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapist and a Certified Personality Disorder Treatment Provider. Throughout her time in the mental health field, Stacy has provided a variety of psychotherapy techniques to multiple different populations with many different needs, and is skilled in providing Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychoeducation, and Existential Psychotherapy; both in an individual and group setting. Stacy is experienced in working with teens through aging adults who are struggling with personality disorders, emotional dysregulation, trauma, dysfunctional family systems, relationship issues, parenting issues, severe emotional disturbances, depression, and anxiety. Stacy enjoys working with teenagers and adults. Stacy is currently offering in person and virtual appointments for individuals whom have Blue Cross/Blue Shield or United Healthcare insurance or whom wish to private pay for sessions. She has evening and weekend availability. Stacy offers all sessions in our Athens location.

Jennifer Nuss, LPC
Jennifer graduated from Mansfield University in 2000 with her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology. She has worked in a variety of different mental health settings and has a wide range of expertise, including working with those struggling with grief and loss, trauma, eating disorders, marriage and relationship concerns, depression, and anxiety. She enjoys taking a person centered approach and utilizing the modality in which would fit best for each individual. She often will utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Techniques, Play and Art therapy techniques, and DBT techniques in sessions. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages, from children to adults. Jennifer offers in person and virtual appointments at this time. Jennifer offers sessions in our Mansfield location.

Ashley Lantz, LAPC
Ashley graduated from Marywood University with a Master of Arts degree in Psychology with a concentration in mental health counseling. She has worked in a variety of settings with school-aged children through adults experiencing diverse symptoms and diagnoses. Ashley believes in utilizing a strength-based, multi-systemic approach to develop a customized plan incorporating each individual’s interests and motivations. Ashley is committed to using best practice methodology to facilitate improved mental health. Ashley is currently offering in-person and virtual appointments in our Athens location.

Sarah Rava, LSW
Sarah is a PA Licensed Social Worker. She graduated from Mansfield University with a degree in Social Work and earned her master's degree in Social Work from Edinboro University. Sarah has years of experience providing therapy to individuals and families facing a wide variety of life's challenges including but not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem, and life transitions. While using cognitive behavioral therapy, parts work, and a strengths-based approach, Sarah strives to create a positive and encouraging therapeutic environment to help clients reach their goals. She is passionate about her clients leaving each session with just a little bit more hope than they walked in with, and looks forward to walking alongside you as you grow. She is currently accepting new clients in person or virtually in our Athens office.
Marriage and Family Therapist Intern
Jenny Stone
Jenny is coming to us as an Intern from the Liberty University Masters of Arts Marriage and Family Therapy program.
A Valley native, Jenny brings our Attuned clients a great deal of experience and knowledge to assist with the community’s needs at large as well as more specialized areas of interest, such as:

She utilizes such methods as Childrens Health and Illness Recovery Program (CHIRP), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Art/Play Therapy. Beginning May 2024, Jenny will be available for In-person appointments. She will be offering Individual, Family and Group sessions.

Social Work Intern
Tabitha Forbes
Tabitha is an intern from Pennsylvania Western University’s Master of Social Work Program.
She previously graduated from Mansfield University earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with dual concentrations of Counseling, and Mind, Body, Health. A combination that provided a holistic view to mental health treatment.

She has experience working as a counselor and advocate for survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse; as well as a chemical dependency counselor for clients with substance use disorders, where she was trained in motivational interviewing.
Currently she works in crisis intervention, interviewing patients who require emergent mental health care.
Through her past roles she has acquired a trauma informed holistic perspective, and has experience in helping clients learning to cope with grief, understanding trauma, understanding co-occurring trauma and addiction, de-escalation and grounding, and navigating through current and past crisis. She will be offering reduced-fee sessions beginning in August 2024 in our Athens location.
